From October 8–10, the Nordic Council Film Prize comes to Bio Skandia.
Over three days, we’re screening this year’s six nominated films from Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway and Sweden — bringing together some of the most exciting voices in Nordic cinema today.
The programme features Beginnings from Denmark, A Light That Never Goes Out from Finland, Birita from the Faroe Islands, The Love That Remains from Iceland, Sentimental Value from Norway and Kevlarsjäl from Sweden.
Since 2002, the Nordic Council Film Prize has celebrated outstanding Nordic filmmaking and films with strong cultural roots in the region.
